These are kinda brownie-ish…but not brownies. Kinda blondie-ish…but not blondies. Kinda…well, you get the idea. They’re an easy thing to throw together quickly and are surprisingly delicious, with a hint of gingerbread flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (about 6 sheets)
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped pecans*
- 1 t vanilla
- ¼ t allspice
- I’ll be honest, I didn’t have quite enough pecans so I backfilled with almonds. Almonds are a bit milder and firmer than pecans, but they do the job.
Directions
Ok, this one’s tough. Spray or flour and butter an 8 or 9” square pan and set aside. In a medium bowl add all your ingredients and stir until well combined.
Pour your batter into your prepared pan and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until it’s nice and golden brown along the top.

Remove from the oven and move to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut up and serve! Seriously, that’s it. Sometimes baking is just…mixing. But you don’t have to tell anyone.
Hint – cut them into fairly small pieces. Since they’re made with condensed milk they’ll be a little rich, and honestly you can always have 3 or 4. Or 5.
