Yeah. So, I made lemon cupcakes. So far, so good. Lemon curd filling…all good, tart and tasty, maybe a little runny – note to add a little cornstarch next time.
Caramel-lemon frosting…no. Just…no. As in, epic fail. As in what-the-hell-was-I-thinking fail. Inedible. Gross. But fresh – at least I have that.
So, not everything works. Some things are okay and pass, and some are amazing. And some you throw down the garbage disposal and replace with a simple lemon buttercream. Because no one should be subjected to caramel-lemon frosting.
