I’ve been making some pretty big desserts lately, so I decided to use up some of the Oreos I have at home and make myself a cookies and cream mug cake. Takes almost no time, minimal cleanup and no leftovers! And…delicious.
Ingredients
- 4 T flour
- 2 T sugar
- 1 T dark brown sugar
- 1 T cocoa powder
- ¼ t baking powder
- 3 T milk
- 1 T + 1 t vegetable oil
- 1 t vanilla
- 3 Oreos
Directions
Pour your flour, sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder into a large mug and whisk together until well combined.

Next, add the milk, oil and vanilla and mix again until well combined.

Finally crush up the Oreos (you can just do this with your hands). Put about 2/3 into the mug and stir until well distributed.

Put the mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 90 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cake has risen and the middle is set.

Sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbles on top and let the mug sit for at least a couple minutes (it’ll be hot!) Then just grab a spoon and dig in!
