Mexican vanilla. You’ll notice throughout this blog I use a LOT of vanilla. Because it rocks. But vanilla can get really expensive, especially if you buy those little bottles at the grocery store. So, for those of you who are near Mexico or vacation in Mexico or know someone who vacations in Mexico, I highly recommend buying the large bottles (about 17oz or so).
The bottle costs about the same as one of those little grocery bottles and you can pour as much as you want on it. I live in California, so whenever I go I buy 3 or 4 bottles. They sell them in the airport, so it’s a great way to blow through your unused pesos before heading back home!
