I mean, hi. But I’ll sit up and beg for this stuff. It’s super simple to make and is great to graze on. And no, don’t feed it to your dog. Not that you’re going to want to – you’ll want to eat it all – but don’t…chocolate isn’t good for dogs. But it’s great for human puppies…
Ingredients
· 5 cups Golden Grahams cereal, divided
· 3 cups Chex cereal (your choice, but none of the flavored ones)
· 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
· 2 cups mini marshmallows, divided
· 1 cup powdered sugar
Directions
This one is super simple.First, combine 4 cups of the Golden Grahams and 3 cups of Chex in a large bowl, mix, and put that to the side.
Melt 1 ½ cups of the chocolate chips in a double boiler – remember to do this slowly on low heat or the chocolate will seize up and no one wants that. Take off the heat before all the chips are melted and continue stirring until they melt completely.
Next, add 1 cup of your mini marshmallows to the melted chocolate and continue to stir until the marshmallows melt as well.
Pour the chocolate marshmallow mixture over the bowl of cereal and stir until everything is coated. Be sure to do this gently so you don’t crush the cereal. Expect this to take longer than you think it will, but don’t worry, you’ll get there.
Pour the coated cereal into a sealable bag, and then pour in the 1 cup powdered sugar. Shake the bag gently until it is all coated.
Pour the cereal onto a cookie sheet and let the chocolate harden.
Once the chocolate is no longer sticky and melty, pour the cereal into a bowl, along with 1 additional cup of Golden Grahams, ½ cup chocolate chips and 1 additional cup mini marshmallows. Stir carefully and serve!
